Minimum wage set at $15 per hour would increase entry level pay for those able to gain employment however, business profit margen would decrease and cause reduction or elimination of staff and in some instances closing of the business. Fast food industry would be hit the hardest and prompt automation of some aspects of work load to eliminate costly staff.
A no vote would maintain the minimum wage at present levels to be adjusted by a less draconian increase. Options open might be a fixed increase acording to a formula based on cost of living index or inflation adjustment
Undecided vote leaves the decision to others in this matter
