Democrats Go Shopping for Judges

President Trump’s efforts to close the border, get rid of undesirable illegal aliens, cut the size of the Federal government and reduce the budget deficit with DOGE cutting waste have been stymied by the rulings of certain left-leaning Federal judges and courts of appeals. It’s not hard to determine who are these judges and courts that oppose Trump’s and the Republican’s efforts to bring the US back from the brink of bankruptcy, social security ruin (see the I Vote My Vote Social Security Podcast –LINK–) and voting insecurity. Here at I Vote My Vote we give voice to the legal voters that each and every illegal voter denies. It’s the supposedly impartial judiciary that is leading the liberal effort to stop progress towards sanity.

Here are some examples of liberal judiciary activism1:

  • Judge Loren AliKhan (a Biden appointee) a member of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit blocked the Trump administration’s plan to pause wasteful federal funding for some nonprofits and public health organizationst.

  • Judge Deborah Boardman, a member of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland (a Biden appointee), ordered a pause on Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship for children of those in the country illegally, in a lawsuit brought by immigrant rights groups.

  • Judge Paul Engelmayer, a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (an Obama appointee), issued a preliminary junction blocking Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency from accessing Treasury Department records after 19 Democratic attorneys general sued Trump.

  • Judge Amy Berman Jackson, a district judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia (an Obama appointee), became known for her criticism of the first Trump administration’s actions and presided over several prosecutions stemming from the Russia investigation, including the prosecutions of Roger Stone and Paul Manafort. Judge Jackson ordered Hampton Dellinger to be reinstated as head of the Office of Special Counsel, which is responsible for guarding the federal workforce against illegal personnel actions, while a court battle continues over his removal by Trump.

  • Judge Angel Kelley, a judge on the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts (a Biden appointee), blocked the Trump administration’s efforts to make billions of dollars in cuts to funding for health research grants after Democratic attorneys general from 22 states sued. DOGE found that the wasteful and dangerous ‘health’ research grants included a grant of $10 Million to the Nusra Front terrorist organization linked to Al-Qaeda.2

All these examples are just a few cited in the Newsweek’s online magazine as “federal judges who have blocked or restricted the Trump administration’s actions.”3 It doesn’t take one long to see that the vast majority of these judges have been Democrat appointees and serve in states that are unapologetically liberal. Then you have the example of Judge Arthur Engoron who has been a consistent Democratic Party donor and who has publicly criticized President Trump over his actions. Engoron was the judge that allowed a valuation of only $18 million for Trump’s Mar-a-Lago in spite of real estate experts’ estimates that the property should probably be valued at more than $300 million.

Obviously, the presumption of judicial impartiality is a myth. Shown to be a myth by a number of judges who have allowed their personal political biases and personal animosities to color their decisions. To be sure, there have been occasional examples of judicial activism on the part of conservative judges, but the vast majority of judge activists have been liberal and Democrats.

Since elections and Congress cannot be relied upon to do it, the most successful ploy that those who oppose President Trump’s agenda and policies has been and will continue to be, shopping for judges. We here at I Vote My Vote deplore this sort of conduct that flouts the principle of judicial impartiality which is an essential part of our government.
